“God creates the beauty - My camera and I are the witnesses.”

I was given my first dslr professional Nikon camera when I was a young mother. I had a newborn son and a daughter in preschool. As with many other young mothers, I knew the road through childhood is a long one; or so I thought at the time, I wanted to capture every moment before they slipped away. Never having held a manual film camera before, I took my first photography class at the New School New York City. It was love at first click. Having always been a people person, I gravitated to portraiture. I photographed any man, woman, and especially children who would be on the other side of the lens of my camera.

As I photographed my daughter's ballet class, the headmistress was taken with my work and commissioned me to photograph for the ballet school. Imagine! My very first photography job! I felt like the 20th century Degas of New York! A photography career/business was born!

Photography is my favorite form of expression; I believe in capturing the spirit of the extraordinary, even in everyday moments. I like to discover something new every day—always with a camera in hand. Through my lens I capture special moments with true emotion and translate them into art. I take great pride in capturing the true spirit and personality of the people and subjects I photograph. I love to show real life; the moments that will be a treasure forever. My focus is the beauty and raw emotion found in each moment.

It is said that if you do what you love, you never work a day in your life. I have been privileged and honored to have photographed family special events and witness to milestones as well as well capture everyday moments that become everlasting memories.
